Podcast for language learning

Podcast is an interesting tool to teach English Language in the classroom.  I have found one useful activity using podcast.  You may try this with your students.

The context:
Students' level: Year 5 and Year 6 (Pre-intermediate)
Age: 10 to 11 years old
Lesson Unit: Food
Goals: To enhance students' listening skill using Podcast
            To follow instructions for procedural writing.


The description of the activity:

• Listening activity at the beginning of the lesson before the students do the procedural writing.
• Through listening the students learn new vocabulary to be used in the writing activity.
•  The students also able to follow instructions on how to make an ice cream.
